Working Principle of Above-Ground Integrated Wastewater Treatment Equipment
It combines biochemical degradation with physical filtration, adopting activated sludge process and filtration system as the core. Suspended impurities are removed first, then wastewater flows into the biochemical reaction zone. With oxygen supplied by the aeration system, microorganisms degrade organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus and other pollutants through metabolism. Afterwards, the sedimentation and filtration unit separates activated sludge from treated water. Finally, disinfection kills harmful microorganisms to complete Wastewater purification. The effluent can reach national Class I or Class II discharge standards to meet different discharge requirements.

The process flow is concise and efficient in five steps:
1. Pretreatment: Grille removes large debris; regulating tank balances water quality and volume to ensure stable follow-up treatment.
2. Biochemical reaction: The aeration system provides oxygen for microorganisms to degrade organic matter, nitrogen, phosphorus and other key pollutants.
3. Sedimentation separation: Activated sludge is separated from treated water, and excess sludge is discharged regularly.
4. Filtration and disinfection: Residual suspended solids are filtered out; UV or chlorine dioxide disinfection eliminates harmful microorganisms.
5. Effluent discharge or reuse: Qualified water is directly discharged into municipal pipe networks, or further treated for greening, toilet flushing and other reuse purposes.
