It consists of carbon steel resin tank, control valve, salt tank, ion exchange resin and connected pipeline system. It is designed to remove calcium and magnesium ions and prevent scale formation. Working Principle of Water Softening Equipment (Carbon Steel)

Based on ion exchange technology, its working principle is the same as conventional water softeners, relying on the stable bearing capacity of carbon steel tank. When raw water passes through the carbon steel resin tank, calcium and magnesium ions in water exchange with sodium ions inside the ion exchange resin. The resin adsorbs calcium and magnesium ions and releases sodium ions, thereby reducing water hardness and producing Water Softener Filter. After the resin reaches adsorption saturation, saturated salt water from the salt tank flows into the resin tank for regeneration, displacing adsorbed calcium and magnesium ions and restoring the resin’s exchange capacity to achieve stable cyclic production of Water Softener Filter.

Ion exchange: Raw water flows through the resin tank, and calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged to generate Water Softener Filter. 3. Water output delivery: Water Softener Filter is transported to water consumption terminals via pipelines. 4. Resin regeneration: After resin saturation, salt water enters the tank for regeneration, and regeneration wastewater is discharged. 5.
