Horizontal Flow Dissolved Air Flotation Machine Equipment Introduction

The horizontal flow dissolved air flotation machine is one of the most widely used solid-liquid separation equipment in the Wastewater treatment industry. It generates micro-bubbles through the dissolved air system to adsorb low-density pollutants such as suspended solids, grease, colloids and algae in wastewater, making them float to the water surface to form scum, thereby realizing separation of clean water and pollutants.

The main body adopts a horizontal rectangular tank structure with horizontal water flow. Featuring moderate floor space, stable operation and high treatment efficiency, it serves as the core pretreatment equipment for Wastewater treatment in printing and dyeing, slaughtering, food, breeding, chemical, municipal and other industries.

Working Principle of Horizontal Flow Dissolved Air Flotation Machine

Dissolved Air System
Clean water is pressurized by a dissolved air pump / air compressor and dissolved air tank, dissolving air into water to form high-pressure saturated dissolved air water.

Instant Air Release
The dissolved air water is suddenly decompressed through the releaser, releasing a large number of fine bubbles with a diameter of 20-50μm, which are uniform, stable and highly adhesive.

Bubble Adsorption & Floating
Micro-bubbles fully contact and adsorb suspended solids, floating oil, algae and fibers in Wastewater, forming gas-solid-liquid three-phase mixture with greatly reduced overall density.

Solid-Liquid Separation
Bubble groups adsorbed with pollutants quickly float to the water surface to form a scum layer; clean water sinks and flows out from the bottom water collection pipe. The slag scraper automatically scrapes scum into the slag tank for discharge, completing solid-liquid separation.
