Multi-media Filter Introduction

Working Principle of Multi-media Filter
The multi-media filter adopts the principles of mechanical interception, gravity sedimentation and adsorption coagulation:
1. Layered filtration. The tank is filled with filter media of different specific gravity such as anthracite, quartz sand and magnetite, scientifically graded with light media on the upper layer and heavy media at the bottom.
2. Deep purification. Water flows downward through the filter layer; large impurities are trapped on the surface while fine suspended solids are adsorbed and intercepted in the deep layer.
3. Turbidity reduction and clarification. Effectively reduce water turbidity and suspended solids to produce clear effluent and protect downstream precision equipment.
4. Automatic backwashing. When the pressure difference reaches the set value, water flows in reverse to loosen filter media and discharge contaminants, restoring filtration capacity without manual cleaning.
