Working Principle of Small Water Softening Equipment
Based on ion exchange technology, the equipment adopts cation exchange resin as the core medium. When raw water passes through the resin tank, calcium and magnesium ions exchange with sodium ions in the resin. The resin adsorbs calcium and magnesium ions and releases sodium ions to lower water hardness. After the resin reaches saturation, saturated salt water from the salt tank is used for regeneration to displace adsorbed hardness ions, restore the resin’s exchange capacity for cyclic use, and finally produce qualified Water Softener Filter.
