Water Softening Equipment (One Working & One Standby) is a complete set specially designed for scenarios requiring continuous Water Softener Filter supply. It consists of two independent softening units (each equipped with resin tank, control valve, salt tank and ion exchange resin) and an integrated linkage control system. Adopting the design of "one unit in operation and the other on standby", it removes calcium and magnesium ions in water to prevent scale formation. With compact layout and easy installation without complex civil works, it meets the demands of continuous water supply and routine maintenance, and is ideal for small and medium occasions with high requirements on water supply stability.

Working Principle of Water Softening Equipment (One Working & One Standby)

Centered on ion exchange technology, the two units operate with identical working logic and linked coordination. In the operating unit, raw water flows through the resin tank, where calcium and magnesium ions exchange with sodium ions in the resin. The resin adsorbs calcium and magnesium ions and releases sodium ions to produce Water Softener Filter. When the resin of the operating unit reaches saturation, the control system automatically switches to the standby unit, and meanwhile regenerates the saturated resin. Saturated salt water from the salt tank displaces calcium and magnesium ions inside the resin to restore its exchange capacity. After regeneration, the standby unit switches to running mode, realizing continuous and stable supply of Water Softener Filter.

The process flow features simple linkage operation in five steps: 1. Raw water pretreatment: After removing suspended impurities, raw water is delivered to both units. 2. Linked operation: One unit performs ion exchange to produce Water Softener Filter, while the other stands by. 3. Unit switching: When the resin of the running unit is saturated, the system automatically switches to the standby unit to ensure uninterrupted water supply. 4. Resin regeneration: The saturated resin is regenerated with salt water, and the wastewater is discharged. 5.
