Livestock & Slaughterhouse Wastewater Treatment Equipment Introduction

Livestock and slaughterhouse wastewater treatment equipment is an integrated, modular and fully automatic Wastewater treatment system developed for high-concentration organic wastewater from livestock breeding, pig slaughter, poultry slaughter and meat processing. Specially designed to handle the characteristics of slaughter wastewater such as high COD, high ammonia nitrogen, high oil and grease, high suspended solids and high pathogenic bacteria, it integrates pretreatment, biochemical treatment, advanced treatment, sludge treatment and disinfection into one unit. It enables stable up-to-standard discharge or water resource reuse, serving as the core equipment for environmental protection acceptance and EIA approval of livestock and slaughter enterprises.

Adopting underground / above-ground modular design with compact structure and high automation, it is widely applicable to large, medium and small-scale farms, designated slaughterhouses, meat processing plants and integrated breeding & slaughter enterprises.

Working Principle

The equipment adopts the combined process of Physical Pretreatment + Anaerobic Hydrolysis + Aerobic Biochemical + Advanced Purification + Disinfection & Sterilization.

Physical Pretreatment
Through grille, sand settling, oil separation and air flotation units, it removes large impurities and suspended solids such as bones, meat scraps, chicken feathers, manure, floating oil and sediment, reducing the load of subsequent treatment.

Anaerobic Biochemical Treatment
Adopting hydrolytic acidification, UASB anaerobic tower and IC reactor to decompose macromolecular organic matter such as protein, grease and blood water into small molecules, greatly reducing COD concentration and realizing biogas recovery and utilization.

Aerobic Biochemical Treatment
Using A/O, A²/O and biological contact oxidation processes, aerobic microorganisms degrade organic pollutants and remove ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus to achieve harmless treatment.

Advanced Treatment & Disinfection
After sedimentation, filtration, MBR membrane and activated carbon adsorption, ultraviolet or chlorine dioxide disinfection is applied to kill E. coli and pathogenic bacteria, ensuring clear, odorless and qualified effluent.

Sludge Treatment
Sludge is concentrated and dewatered into dry sludge cakes, which can be used for composting, outward transportation and organic fertilizer production without secondary pollution.

Fully automatic operation: PLC intelligent control realizes automatic aeration, dosing and sludge discharge with 24-hour unattended operation and low labor cost.

Energy-saving & low operation cost: Low energy consumption, less sludge yield and small dosage of chemicals; partial processes support biogas recovery and reclaimed water reuse for higher economic benefits.

Corrosion resistance & long service life: Main body made of anti-corrosion carbon steel / stainless steel with a service life of 10-15 years; quiet operation with no peculiar odor.

Wide applicability & customizable: Supports daily treatment capacity from 5 tons to 1000 tons; size, process and discharge standard can be customized according to site conditions.
