Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Advantages and Applicable Industries of MBR Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Having worked in the wastewater treatment industry for 10 years, I've personally overseen the implementation of over 200 wastewater renovation projects. I strongly disagree with a common industry claim: that traditional inclined tube sedimentation tanks are more stable, less troublesome, and have a lower failure rate. Last year, in a food factory renovation project in Huyi District, Xi'an, we replaced our 8-year-old traditional activated sludge + secondary sedimentation tank system with an integrated MBR system. In the 27 months since, it hasn't experienced a single issue with sludge expansion or sludge floating in the effluent. The old system, however, suffered three instances of effluent exceeding standards last year alone due to sludge overflow in the secondary sedimentation tank, resulting in environmental warnings and over 120.000 yuan in losses from shutdowns and rectifications.

Customers familiar with traditional wastewater treatment equipment know that secondary sedimentation tanks occupy a huge amount of space, which is often insufficient for the factory space of many small and medium-sized enterprises. The MBR process eliminates the secondary sedimentation tank, reducing the overall equipment footprint to only half that of traditional systems. This significantly saves businesses on land use costs. The treated wastewater can be directly used for factory flooring, watering greenery, and equipment cooling.

I believe that upgrading wastewater treatment facilities doesn't require blindly installing large-scale, complete sets of equipment. Many older factory sites have pipelines and civil engineering foundations built over a decade ago. Demolishing and rebuilding them would cost hundreds of thousands of yuan just for excavation and pipeline modifications, delaying the project by more than three months – a situation the factory simply can't afford to halt. Integrated MBR (Medium-Terminal Regulator) equipment can replace old equipment in situ without large-scale demolition. In a dyeing factory renovation project in Xianyang, we completed the entire process from equipment arrival to achieving compliant effluent in just 11 days, saving 70% of the construction time compared to traditional renovation methods, and without disrupting production schedules.

Having worked in equipment integration for ten years, I sincerely advise everyone to purchase wastewater treatment equipment directly from the source manufacturer. Middlemen add significant markups, and after-sales service is often unreliable. One customer bought MBR equipment from a middleman, and after six months, the membrane became clogged. When they contacted the middleman, they discovered the middleman didn't even have the membrane modules in stock, causing a 20-day delay and nearly forcing the factory to shut down. DIEN Water Treatment is a reputable water treatment equipment manufacturer, eliminating middlemen and their markups. Our equipment pricing is transparent and reasonable, offering 15%-20% lower prices than middlemen for the same configuration, significantly outperforming our competitors.

  Wastewater Treatment Equipment

Our equipment range is comprehensive, covering MBR wastewater treatment equipment, domestic wastewater treatment equipment, industrial wastewater treatment equipment, reverse osmosis equipment, water softening equipment, EDI ultrapure water equipment, well water purification equipment, etc. We can meet the water treatment needs of all industries, from small-scale domestic wastewater in rural towns to complex industrial wastewater in chemical industrial parks. All equipment undergoes a 72-hour continuous water pressure test and comprehensive water quality testing before leaving the factory. Membrane modules, pumps, valves, and electrical control systems all undergo three rounds of integrated testing to ensure quality control at every stage and prevent problems such as leaks, substandard treatment, and frequent malfunctions from the source.
