Ⅱ. Raw Water Quality & Governance Pain Points
This project is part of the rural living environment improvement and rural Wastewater renovation project in Yan'an. The raw water is mainly mixed wastewater of rural domestic Wastewater and manure pollution, with the following prominent problems:
Untreated Wastewater is discharged randomly, polluting ditches, soil and surrounding river channels;
High concentration of fecal Wastewater, organic matter and suspended solids easily turns water black and odorous, breeding mosquitoes and affecting village appearance and villagers' health;
