Bag Filter Introduction

Working Principle of Bag Filter
It operates on screening filtration technology, relying on the porous interception function of filter bags. Under pressure, raw water enters the filter housing. Through the filtering effect of the filter bag, suspended particles and impurities larger than the bag pore size are trapped on the surface of the filter bag, while clean water passes through and discharges via the outlet pipeline to realize solid-liquid separation. When the filter bag accumulates excessive impurities and the inlet-outlet pressure difference reaches the set value, shut down the equipment, open the quick-opening device to replace the filter bag, or clean the reusable filter bag to restore filtration capacity and ensure stable filtering performance.

The process flow of the bag filter is divided into five steps: 1. Water inlet pressurization: After pretreatment, raw water enters the filter housing under pressure; 2. Bag filtration: Raw water flows through the filter bag with impurities intercepted to produce clean water; 3. Water output delivery: Clean water is transported to subsequent treatment units or water terminals through outlet pipelines; 4. Filter bag maintenance: When the pressure difference exceeds the standard, shut down the equipment to replace or clean the filter bag and discharge trapped impurities; 5. Cyclic operation: Restart the equipment after maintenance to resume filtration and realize continuous and stable water supply.
