  Summer brings heavy rainfall, making well water more turbid than usual. After a few days, it may appear clear again, leading to continued use.   What is filtered in well water and how is it filtered?

  The first layer is quartz sand. Don't be fooled by claims of "refined quartz sand." Look at the particle size—0.4-0.8mm is ideal. Too fine, and it will clog; too coarse, and it will leak. The type we use can filter over 90% of sediment and rust per cubic meter. This isn't an exaggeration; it's based on actual measurements. Take a beaker of water, let it sit for three days, and the layer of sediment at the bottom will be thicker than the dust on your balcony.

  The second layer is activated carbon. Don't underestimate this black activated carbon; it not only absorbs odors but also the humic acid that turns your water yellow. Our equipment's backwashing is automatic. When the pressure difference reaches 0.07 MPa, the valve clicks, and the water flows in reverse, flushing out all the sediment from the sand. It's fully automatic in 3 minutes; you don't even need to touch it. The filter media can last for three more years, saving not just money but lives—who wants to climb into tanks every day to remove sediment?

  Bigger isn't always better equipment. A 5-ton/hour water supply is sufficient for a livestock farm, while rural centralized water supply systems require 20 tons, and factory production lines may need 50 tons.
