Floating Bed Water Softening Equipment Introduction

Floating bed water softening equipment is a high-efficiency water softening system adopting floating resin bed technology. It is mainly composed of floating bed tank, ion exchange resin, water distribution device, regeneration system and control system. During operation, the resin stays in a suspended and floating state. The equipment effectively removes calcium and magnesium ions to prevent scale formation. Featuring compact structure and high treatment efficiency, it meets medium and high water flow softening demands with balanced throughput and softening precision, widely suitable for scenarios requiring high water supply efficiency.

Working Principle of Floating Bed Water Softening Equipment

Its working principle is based on ion exchange and floating bed technology, different from traditional fixed bed equipment. In operation, raw water flows upward into the floating bed tank, pushing the resin into a fully suspended state for sufficient contact with water. Calcium and magnesium ions rapidly exchange with sodium ions in the resin, efficiently reducing water hardness and producing Water Softener Filter. After the resin is saturated, regeneration is carried out in a top-down mode. Saturated salt water passes through the floating resin layer to displace adsorbed calcium and magnesium ions. After regeneration, the resin restores exchange capacity and returns to floating operation, realizing cyclic and high-efficiency water softening.

The process flow is concise and efficient in five steps: 1. Water inlet and distribution: After pretreatment and impurity removal, raw water enters the floating bed tank from bottom to top. 2.
