1. Project overview
This project is located in the New Energy Industrial Park of the Qaidam Basin in Qinghai.The factory area is located in the Gobi Salt Lake Area, and the freshwater resources in the area are extremely scarce.
2. Raw water quality issues and project background
There are no high-quality freshwater resources around the factory area, and the production of water can only rely on the surrounding surface water and shallow groundwater.This kind of water body belongs to a typical plateau with high salt water quality, high mineralization, excessive salt content, and a large amount of sediment, suspended solids and colloidal impurities.The water quality is turbid all year round, and the water quality fluctuates more in seasonal and windy weather, and the stability is extremely poor.
In the early stage, the factory tried ordinary water purification equipment to treat water sources, but the effect was not ideal.Conventional filtration equipment can only remove impurities visible to the naked eye, and there is no way to remove salt from the water.After being put into use, not only does the purity of the effluent not meet the requirements of the new energy production process, but there are also frequent problems such as pipeline fouling, corrosion of high-pressure equipment, and clogging and scrap of membrane components.Frequent equipment shutdowns and maintenance not only delay production progress, but also significantly increase operation and maintenance costs, which seriously restricts the normal and stable production of the factory, and the entire set of old water purification equipment is completely unable to adapt to the working conditions of the factory.

3. Customized solutions
Combining the environmental characteristics of the large temperature difference between day and night, low temperature in winter, and low air pressure in the Qinghai Plateau, with the average daily water consumption of the plant and the energy-saving needs of green electricity, Dean Water treatment has customized a complete set of solutions for double-membrane seawater desalination adapted to the working conditions of the plateau, abandoning the shortcomings of generalized equipment, and solving the problem of high-salt water purification in a targeted manner.
