Ⅱ. Raw Water Quality Problems & Project Background
To save water resources, the rare metal smelter adopts reclaimed water from smelting processes as makeup water for the boiler cooling system. However, the reclaimed water has obvious quality defects:
1. High water hardness with excessive calcium and magnesium ions;
2. High-hardness water entering the boiler cooling system easily causes scaling and pipeline blockage;
